These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the Fameally mobile application and related services provided by Edward Nickless ("we", "us", or "our"). By using Fameally, you agree to these Terms.
1. Eligibility and accounts
You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, to enter into these Terms. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for activities that occur under your account.
2. The service
Fameally is a meal planning and shopping list app that allows users to create and manage meals, methods/recipes, plans, shopping lists, and related content. We may modify, improve, suspend, or discontinue parts of the service from time to time.
3. User content
You retain ownership of the content you create in the App. You grant us a limited licence to host, store, process, and display that content solely as necessary to operate and improve the service.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the App in violation of applicable law;
- attempt to interfere with or disrupt the service;
- reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code except where permitted by law;
- use the service to store unlawful, infringing, abusive, or harmful content; or
- share access in a way that bypasses subscription rules or intended plan limits.
5. Subscriptions and billing
Some features of Fameally may require a paid subscription. If you purchase a subscription through Apple or Google, billing, renewal, and cancellation are handled by the relevant app store under its own terms and payment rules.
- Subscriptions may auto-renew unless cancelled before the renewal date.
- You can manage or cancel your subscription through your Apple App Store or Google Play account settings.
- Prices may change in the future, subject to applicable platform rules and notice requirements. When prices do change, we will aim to give you at least 30 days notice before doing so.
6. Free features and paid features
We may offer a free tier and one or more paid tiers. Features may vary by subscription level and may change over time.
7. Intellectual property
The App, including its branding, design, software, and non-user content, is owned by or licensed to us and protected by intellectual property laws. Except for the limited right to use the App under these Terms, no rights are granted to you.
8. Privacy
Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy.
9. Termination
You may stop using the App at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you materially or repeatedly breach these Terms, where necessary to protect the service, comply with law, or prevent harm.
10. Disclaimers
The App is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable for every purpose.
11. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, goodwill, or business opportunity arising out of or related to your use of the App. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
12. Consumer rights
If you are a consumer, you may have statutory rights that cannot be excluded or limited by these Terms. These Terms do not override those rights.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, unless applicable consumer law in your place of residence provides otherwise.
14. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The latest version will always be posted on this page with an updated date.
